This batch of samples reflects the growth and stature of Lowe's real estate management groups. The
incidental below was embroidered on windbreakers for a gathering
of the Lowe Enterprises Investment Management team. Naturally,
it was held at one of the posh
Colorado
mountain
resorts they
manage. Very downhill! |

This is the prospectus for Lowe's Strategic Opportunities Fund, a investment vehicle to fund acquisition, turnaround and disposition of undervalued properties. It was put together by LEIM, one of the Lowe subsidiaries. The peek-a-boo cover was an elegant textured cover stock with six die-cut squares revealing mysterious snippets of the color image on the title page. The title and logo were embossed and silver foil-stamped. Most of the guts of this 24-page wirebound book were black and white salted with a few color pages of projects, as below. |

The prospectus for the Hotels & Resorts Fund was a joint venture of LEIM and Lowe's highly successful Destination Hotels & Resorts subsidiary. The design approach was similar to the Strategic Opportunities Fund. This project was 68 pages and featured color pages profiling specific projects demonstrating Lowe's turnaround expertise. Thus the little financial performance and projection graphs on the sample pages.
